Dr. Tracey Wright is a faculty member at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where she joined in 2008 after completing her fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She serves as Chief of the Division of Pediatric Rheumatology and Pediatric Fellowship Program Director in the Department of Pediatrics, practicing at Scottish Rite Hospital and Children’s Health.
Research Interests: Her work focuses on pediatric systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and improving outcomes for children and adolescents with this disease. She is a principal investigator for the Clinical and Sample Core at the NIAMS-funded Center for Lupus Research, collaborating with the Drukier Institute for Children's Health and the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine.
Publications Trends: Her research spans single-cell analysis of lupus heterogeneity, interferon pathways, glucocorticoid resistance mechanisms, and clinical indices for lupus nephritis and spondyloarthritis. She has contributed to understanding neutrophil-driven immunology, T cell-B cell interactions, and precision medicine in autoimmune diseases.
Labs & Collaborations: Dr. Wright is integral to the NIAMS Center for Lupus Research, a cross-institutional collaboration involving UT Southwestern, Weill Cornell Medicine, and the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine.
