Tracey Recigno

Dr. Tracey Recigno is an Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy and serves as the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program Director and Department Chair at Hawai`i Pacific University’s Graduate College of Health Sciences. She is an active faculty member contributing to academic leadership and occupational therapy education within the university’s ‘ohana culture.

Dr. Recigno's research interests focus on occupational therapy leadership, the scholarship of teaching and learning, application of the Role Acquisition and Transition Support System (RTSS), and complementary health approaches. Her scholarly work emphasizes leadership development within the occupational therapy profession and innovative educational practices.

She has presented her research at national and international professional conferences and has published peer-reviewed articles on leadership in occupational therapy. Her service and academic activities reflect a strong commitment to advancing the profession through education and mentorship.

Dr. Recigno is actively involved in academic leadership, program development, and teaching. She plays a key role in shaping the OTD program curriculum and fostering a collaborative educational environment.
