Tracey Horton

Miss Tracey Horton is a Senior Lecturer and Legal Practitioner at Bangor University's School of History, Law and Social Sciences. She joined in December 2023, bringing over 30 years of legal practice experience. As a solicitor qualified since 1994, her professional background includes civil litigation, employment law, and high-value personal injury law in London, Liverpool, and Manchester. She previously directed Staffordshire University's Legal Advice Clinic (SULAC) before transitioning to Bangor.

At Bangor, she oversees the establishment of the Bangor University Legal Advice Clinic (BULAC), a level 6 module where students provide pro bono legal advice under her supervision. Launching in 2024/25, BULAC emphasizes practical legal training and community service. She also teaches on the Professional Practical Skills Module, focusing on Wills and Trusts for SQE preparation, and leads the work placement module for law students. Her roles include contributing to the employability team, enhancing student career readiness through experiential learning.
