Tracey Hayes Norrell is a Senior Lecturer in Human Geography at the University of Tennessee's Department of Geography. She holds a Ph.D. in Modern European History (2010) from the University of Tennessee, alongside an MS in Geography and MA in European History from Texas A&M University. Her research focuses on geopolitics, historical/political/military geography, and human rights. Norrell has extensive international academic experience, including teaching at the University of Tübingen (2011) and Alabama A&M University (2011-2013).
