Tracey Emin is a Professor of Drawing at the Royal Academy of Arts since 2011, one of its first female professors. Born in 1963, she holds an MA from the Royal College of Art and an honorary doctorate from the same institution. Her practice spans installation, sculpture, painting, and video, focusing on intimate autobiography and confessional themes. Awarded Commander of the British Empire (2013) and nominated for the Turner Prize (1999), her exhibitions include solo shows at White Cube, Xavier Hufkens, and Dio Horia.
