Torsten Mattern

Prof. Dr. Torsten Mattern serves as Professor of Classical Archaeology and Chair of the Department of Classical and Provincial Roman Archaeology at the University of Trier. His research centers on Greek and Roman architectural history, topographical studies of ancient Greece, and provincial Roman archaeology with fieldwork focused on Pheneos (Greece) and Asklepieion sites.
