Torsten Mario Augenstein

Dr. Torsten Mario Augenstein is a Lecturer in the MusicTheatre Department at the University of Music Karlsruhe. His academic training includes musicology and Romance studies at the University of Heidelberg, where he earned his doctorate in 2004 under Prof. Dr. Silke Leopold. He has held research and teaching roles at institutions such as the University of Karlsruhe (KIT) and the University of Münster, focusing on historical musicology, opera, and church music. His work also involves phonetics of Italian and librettology.
