Tormod Rimehaug

Tormod Rimehaug is a Professor at NTNU’s Regional Centre for Child and Youth Mental Health and Child Welfare, specializing in clinical psychology with a focus on preventive interventions and implementation science. He holds a PhD in clinical medicine (2012) and has extensive experience in child psychiatry, clinical supervision, and academic leadership.

• Mental health of children in foster care

His research emphasizes practical applications, such as the BAPP network for families affected by parental mental illness or addiction.

Teaching & Leadership: He previously led teaching initiatives in child mental health at RBUP/RKBU Midt-Norge and developed master’s programs. Current roles include part-time clinical work and academic advising.
