Tori Truss

Tori Truss is Lecturer Emeritus of Acting at Sonoma State University. A BSS graduate from Northwestern University, she began her career developing educational youth theatre programs that toured multiple states. Co-founded Pennsylvania's Bloomsburg Theater Ensemble and worked with San Francisco's Antenna Theater (Appearance of Civilization named to SF Chronicle's 'Top 10').

SSU Contributions: Directed productions including Amahl and the Night Visitors, Sam Shepard's Curse of the Starving Class, and María Irene Fornés' Fefu and Her Friends. Trained under Frank Galati, Alvina Krause, and Bud Beyer. Notable acting roles: Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Sabina in Skin of Our Teeth, and Ruella in Communicating Doors.
