Associate Professor Tony Hooker is a radiation biologist at the University of Adelaide, affiliated with the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology. He leads the Centre for Radiation Research, Education, and Innovation (CRREI) since 2019, following 12 years as the Principal Radiation Health Advisor for the South Australian government. His expertise spans radiation-induced damage mechanisms, health effects, and risk communication.

His supervision of higher-degree research candidates includes roles as primary or co-supervisor across multiple faculties.
