Tony Graham is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Quillen Dishner College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University. He serves as a psychiatrist for the Mt. Rogers Community Services Board PACT program in Smyth and Wythe counties. Previously, he was Medical Director at the Southwestern Virginia Mental Health Institute and the first National Chief of Telemedicine for the Veterans Health Administration (VA) from 1997-1999.
Education: Medical College of Virginia (M.D.), residency in psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and internal medicine internship at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Research focuses on psychotic disorders (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder) and telemedicine innovations in rural healthcare delivery. He has pioneered telemedicine solutions to improve access to mental health services in underserved areas.
