Professor Tony Constantinides is a Senior Research Investigator in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. He has over 50 years of research experience in digital signal processing, financial signal processing, and communications. He founded and previously led the Communications and Signal Processing Division and currently leads the Financial Signal Processing Lab. Additionally, he holds an Honorary Chair of Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology, UCL, focusing on prehistoric symbols, Linear B script analysis, and Egyptological studies. His archaeological work includes interpreting symbols on Akrotiri pithoi, analyzing Lahun papyri, and reconstructing fragmented wall paintings using advanced image processing techniques.
