Dr. Tong Li is a Juniorprofessor at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and a Guest Researcher at the Max-Planck-Institute for Iron Research in Düsseldorf, Germany. His research focuses on the characterization of catalyst materials using atom probe tomography and electron microscopy, alongside phase transformation studies in titanium alloys.
Education: D.Phil (PhD) in Materials Science from the University of Oxford (2007–2011). Prior positions include Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow (2016) and roles at The University of Queensland and the University of Sydney.
