Ton Stevens

Prof. Ton Stevens is a Full Professor of Tax Economics at Tilburg University, affiliated with the Fiscal Institute Tilburg (FIT) and Tilburg Law School. He holds positions as tax advisor at Loyens & Loeff N.V. and serves on the board of the Dr. Hendrik Muller's Vaderlandsch Fonds. His research focuses on corporate income tax, international tax law, hybrid entities, and German tax systems. Stevens has contributed to the 'Connecting Organizations' research project (2019–2023), exploring legal and fiscal frameworks. His work addresses complex topics like cross-border taxation, fiscal classification of foreign legal forms, and OECD tax guidelines.

Teaching includes courses on corporate taxation and fiscal structures. He has authored/co-authored over 40 publications, including articles on Dutch tax reforms and hybrid entity classifications. His collaborations span international tax law scholars and institutions, reflecting expertise in global tax policy.
