Tomás Rotta is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director of Economics in the Institute of Management Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London. He is a member of the Structural Economic Analysis Research Unit and serves on the management committee of the Association for Heterodox Economics.

Recent publications analyze global value chains, income inequality in the United States, and comparative economic exploitation across 43 countries. These studies employ quantitative frameworks to explore how information rents and intellectual monopoly affect value creation, distribution, and productivity.
Tomás’ affiliations include the Structural Economic Analysis Research Unit and the Association for Heterodox Economics. He teaches Advanced Econometrics, Econometrics, and Applied Quantitative Economics at postgraduate and undergraduate levels.
