Tomasz Kwiatkowski

Tomasz Kwiatkowski is a faculty member in the Department of Design at the Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts. He focuses on fostering critical thinking in students through design process training, emphasizing the universality of design across thematic, economic, and social domains. His research interests include design methodology, ergonomics, and critical design analysis.

He co-founded the Pomeranian Center of Technology in Gdynia and the 01 Research Group. He serves on the board of the Association of Industrial Designers and the Scientific Council of the Tri-City Academic Computer Network. His collaborative projects include urban furniture designs like the SMART CITY SEAT and industrial lighting solutions for Siled S.A., developed with teams including Marek Średniawa and Iwona Dzierżko-Bukal.
