Tom Weller is the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he leads academic initiatives and strategic research programs. Previously, he served as School Head of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Oregon State University. His research focuses on applied electromagnetics, particularly in microwave and mmWave circuit design, additive manufacturing for RF electronics, and equivalent circuit modeling.
Dr. Weller holds 45 U.S. patents and is a Fellow of both the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the National Academy of Inventors. He has supervised 28 Ph.D. students and championed student-focused programs to enhance professional development.
