Tom McFarlane is an Associate Professor in the Teaching Stream at the School of Pharmacy, University of Waterloo. He teaches courses in oncology, internal medicine, and autoimmunity to undergraduate students and conducts practice-based research focused on improving supportive care regimens for cancer patients. His clinical work is centered at the Odette Cancer Centre, Sunnybrook Health Sciences, Toronto, where he combines clinical practice, research, and student mentorship.
