Tom James serves as the Information Technology and Lab Supervisor at the Huntsman School of Business, Utah State University, managing computer labs and IT infrastructure while teaching computer courses for over 30 years across the Management Information Systems department and other institutions.
His educational background includes:
- MS in Business Information Systems from Utah State University (1992)
- BA in Business Administration - Finance from Utah State University (1986)
Mr. James' expertise focuses on practical business technology applications, with professional experience spanning securities trading at Fidelity Investments, aerospace operations at Morton-Thiokol, and academic IT systems management since 1997. His work emphasizes supporting educational technology environments rather than theoretical research.
As primary supervisor for the Huntsman School's computing facilities, he oversees lab operations, technical support, and instructional technology integration for business students and faculty.
