Tom Harrold

Tom Harrold is a Scottish composer and educator holding a Lecturer position at Leeds Conservatoire (UK) and Whittle School & Studios (China). He graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music (Manchester) as a student of David Horne, Adam Gorb, and Gary Carpenter, later becoming an Associate Member there.

His compositional portfolio includes orchestral works (e.g., BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra's Nightfires), ballet scores (Birmingham Royal Ballet's A Brief Nostalgia), and film/media music placements with BBC, ITV, and Spitfire Audio. Notable achievements include breaking a Guinness World Record and simultaneous BBC Radio 3/4 broadcasts of Darkened Dreams.
