Dr. Tom Frost is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Kent’s Kent Law School, serving as KLS Skills Hub Coordinator and Deputy Chief Examiner. Previously, he held lectureships at the University of Leicester, University of Sussex, and Newcastle University, with additional experience as a Parliamentary Clerk at the UK’s Department of Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport. He earned a PhD from the University of Southampton focusing on Giorgio Agamben’s philosophy and its legal implications, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

- Justice and colonialism in British Empire governance
- Decolonial approaches to public law pedagogy
- Philosophical analysis of slavery in Western thought

- Socio-Legal Studies Association-funded research re-examining public law cases through colonial archives
- Analysis of Chagossian dispossession and environmental law’s role in colonial oppression
