Dr. Tom E Porter is a Distinguished University Professor in the Department of Animal & Avian Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park. His research focuses on neuroendocrine regulation of growth and reproduction, cellular differentiation of the anterior pituitary gland, and global gene expression analysis in avian species. He teaches courses including Avian Physiology, Domestic Animal Endocrinology, and Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology.
