Dr. Tom Doig is a Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Queensland's School of Communication and Arts, Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. He is affiliated with multiple research centers including the Centre for Communication and Social Change, Centre for Digital Cultures & Societies, Research Centre in Creative Arts and Human Flourishing, and Centre for Critical and Creative Writing.

His scholarly work spans media analysis of climate anxiety, creative nonfiction approaches to environmental issues, and examinations of survivalist movements across different social classes.
