Todd W. Dutka

Todd W. Dutka is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Trinity Western University (TWU), affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences. He has taught since January 2009, designing and instructing 10 courses including foundational psychology, lifespan development, career counseling, and neuroscience-related subjects. His expertise spans trauma therapy, psychoneurobiological systems, and career/relationship research.

Research focuses on therapeutic interventions for public speaking anxiety, conflict resolution in relationships, and career decision-making. He has presented work at Western Psychological Association and American Psychological Association conferences. In clinical practice, he specializes in EMDR and OEI techniques to address trauma and cognitive-emotional blockages.

Awards include the 2013 Davis Distinguished Teaching Award Nomination and Academic All-Canadian honors for varsity soccer (2004-2006). Affiliations include the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, American Scientific Affiliation, and BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
