Todd Sarnstrom is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at St. Norbert College, affiliated with the Schneider School of Business & Economics and contributing to its Center for Business and Economic Analysis. He holds a Ph.D. in applied economics from Western Michigan University (2016). His research focuses on firm-level foreign direct investment using data on Japanese multinational enterprises and studying hidden immigrant populations via the Public Use Microdata Sample (PUMS). He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in data analytics, statistics, and business analysis, including BUAD 142, BUAD 228, DATA 202, and BUAD 629.
Before academia, Sarnstrom worked in a startup developing polymers and composites, where he contributed to new-product development, production trials, inventory management, and ERP system implementation. His expertise bridges economics, data analysis, and business strategy.
