Todd Quick

Todd Quick serves as Associate Professor of Theatre at Monmouth College and Coordinator of the First-Year Experience Program, with 8 years of service as of Fall 2025. He concurrently holds a faculty position at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and maintains active membership in Actors' Equity Association.

His educational background includes:

• M.F.A. in Acting from Purdue University
• B.A. in Theatre Performance from SUNY Geneseo

Professor Quick's expertise spans both classical and contemporary performance disciplines. He emphasizes Shakespearean acting as a foundational practice, comparing it to "playing Mozart" in its demand for precision and artistry. His pedagogy integrates physical techniques like Viewpoints and Stage Combat with modern audition strategies, while his Headshot Photography initiative provides low-cost professional services to actors. Specialized interests in Clown and Children's Theatre further demonstrate his commitment to diverse theatrical forms.

Within the national theatre community, he coordinates the Irene Ryan Acting competition for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (Region 3). His mentorship extends to student directors, such as advising a senior on José Rivera's Marisol for the 2025-26 season.
