Todd Giles

Todd Giles is an Associate Professor in the Communication, Media & Fine Arts Department at Bryan College, where he relocated in 2021 after 25+ years of teaching college-level art courses. His expertise spans Graphic Design, Visual Arts, and Art History, with a focus on combat art, letterpress printing, and book design.

• Education: Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts – Graphic Design from Marywood University (2004), and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with a minor in Art History from Indiana University (1990).

Todd's research explores art's role in documenting conflict and healing, evident in his 2004 thesis To Hell with Art and lectures like Art + Healing. His design work includes projects for the American Cancer Society (2017) and the Rhea County Historical Society (2023), reflecting his commitment to community engagement through visual storytelling.
