Tobias Krojer

Tobias Krojer serves as a Research Fellow and project manager of the FragMAX facility for crystal-based fragment screening at MAX IV Laboratory, while also participating in the Integrative Pharmacology and Drug Discovery (IPDD) Working Group 1 under the LINXS network.

His research focuses on accelerating structure-based drug development through synchrotron radiation techniques, with specialization in fragment-based screening and X-ray crystallography. This work targets streamlining early-stage drug discovery by identifying molecular fragments that bind to protein targets, enabling faster lead compound optimization for pharmaceutical applications.

As FragMAX facility lead, he oversees operations for crystallographic fragment screening services used by academic and industrial researchers in drug discovery pipelines, emphasizing methodological innovations that reduce development timelines for novel therapeutics.
