Dr Timothy Stott is an Associate Professor in Modern and Contemporary Art History and Head of the Department of History of Art and Architecture at Trinity College Dublin. He specializes in ecocritical art history, environmental humanities, and the visual culture of science. His research explores intersections between art/design practices and environmental sustainability, with a focus on systems theory, participatory art, and post-war design innovations.
