Timothy Steenbergh

Dr. Timothy Steenbergh is a Professor and Chair of the Division of Behavioral Sciences at Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU). He has been with the university since 2003, teaching courses in Statistics and Abnormal Psychology. His research focuses on addictive behaviors, medical education, and the application of mobile technology to psychological assessment and intervention. He leads the EMA Lab (www.emaresearch.org), exploring how mobile technology promotes human flourishing. Dr. Steenbergh holds a BS from Ball State University (1995), an MA from the University of Memphis (2001), and a PhD from Michigan State University and Genesys Medical Center (2003).

His academic awards include a 2016 Research Fellowship from the Lumen Research Institute and Excelsia College. Current research projects investigate virtues and student success.
