Sir Timothy O’Shea is a distinguished academic and educational leader, currently serving as Master of Birkbeck College within the University of London. He holds a Personal Chair in Information Technology and Education from the Open University (1987) and was recognized with the CAPIRE Prize (1992) for his innovative contributions to science education. His career began with foundational work in computer-mediated learning, virtual learning environments, and the integration of technology into education.
