Timothy J. Moore is the John and Penelope Biggs Distinguished Professor of Classics and Chair of the Department of Classics at Washington University in St. Louis. He holds affiliate faculty positions in the Performing Arts Department and the Comparative Literature and Thought programs. Moore earned his PhD in Classics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has held visiting professorships in Germany and fellowships at prestigious institutions including the American Academy in Rome.
