Maj Timothy I. Calver, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Physics in the Department of Engineering Physics at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT). He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics (2021) from AFIT, with prior M.S. degrees in Information Resource Management (2011), Applied Physics (2015), and B.S. degrees in Physics and Astronomy from Northern Arizona University (2006). His career includes roles as an Electro-Optical Countermeasures Scientist, Infrared Countermeasures Program Manager, Space Test Capability Lead, and Deputy Chief of the Nuclear Sciences Division. His research focuses on pulsed laser ablation, laser damage assessment, and optical diagnostic techniques.
