Timothy Caulfield is a Professor in the Faculty of Law and the School of Public Health at the University of Alberta, holding the Canada Research Chair in Health Law and Policy. He serves as Research Director of the Health Law Institute and contributes to the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation’s COVID-19 Impact Committee, focusing on evidence-based strategies to combat health misinformation.
His research critically examines health law, public policy, and science communication, with specialization in debunking myths around stem cells, alternative medicine, celebrity health trends, and diet culture.
