Timothy Beatley

Timothy Beatley is the Teresa Heinz Professor of Sustainable Communities in the Department of Urban and Environmental Planning at the School of Architecture, University of Virginia, where he has taught for over twenty-five years. His work focuses on sustainable cities and towns, emphasizing strategies to reduce ecological footprints while enhancing livability and equity.
