Dr. Timothy A. Spurgin is the Bonnie Glidden Buchanan Professor of English Literature and Associate Professor of English at Lawrence University, where he has served since 1990. He specializes in Romanticism, contemporary critical theory, and the English novel, and has directed the freshman program twice.
