Timo Lakka is a Professor of Medical Physiology at the University of Eastern Finland's School of Medicine, part of the Faculty of Health Sciences. He also holds an Adjunct Professorship in Public Health. His research focuses on identifying and preventing metabolic and cardiovascular risks through lifestyle interventions, particularly in children and adolescents.
