Timo Habedank

Timo Habedank is a research associate at the Institute of Sports Science within the Department of Educational & Social Sciences at the University of Hildesheim. His work focuses on psychological and pedagogical aspects of sports, particularly in youth competitive sports and resilience research.

• Education: Master of Education in Sports & German for secondary school teaching at the University of Hildesheim; First and Second State Examinations in Ravensburg & Meckenbeuren.
• Research: Stress and resources in youth competitive sports, resilience, health psychology in sports, psychology of extreme/risk sports, motor development.
• Teaching: Theoretical courses on psychological foundations of physical education, psychological training in sports, and practical excursions in alpine hiking, road biking, and climbing.
