Tim Whitmarsh is the Regius Professor of Greek at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Classics, succeeding his role as A. G. Leventis Professor of Greek Culture (2014–2023). He serves as Editor in Chief of the fifth edition of the Oxford Classical Dictionary. His research focuses on Greek literature, culture, and interdisciplinary approaches to classical studies.
