Tim Watt

Tim Watt is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the Business School, Manchester Metropolitan University, within the Department of Finance and Economics. He holds roles as Level 6 Year Tutor and joint Unit Leader for Assurance & Corporate Governance and Corporate Finance and Tax 2.

Education:

• BA (Hons) in Business Finance, Durham University (2003)
• Chartered Accountant (ACA, 2006)
• Associate Member of Corporate Treasurers (AMCT, 2009)

Professional Experience:

• Worked at KPMG as an auditor for clients ranging from small businesses to large listed companies and football clubs.
• European Financial Controller for a $1B USD well-being products firm (2007–2009).
