Tim Segerberg

Tim Segerberg is a doctoral student in Political Science at Mid Sweden University since October 2022. He is affiliated with the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, focusing on the relationship between political leaders and voters.

Education:

• Bachelor's and Master's in Political Science and Media and Communication Studies from the University of Gothenburg (2020).

His research explores political psychology, voting behavior, crisis communication, and party leader effects, with a specific interest in how affective polarization shapes electoral dynamics.

Recent publications analyze the impact of presidential candidates' personality traits on voter turnout and the political participation of the Sámi electorate in European Parliament elections. His methodological approach includes conjoint experiments and quantitative text analysis to assess voter perceptions of party leaders.
