Professor Tim Prenzler is Professor of Criminology at the University of the Sunshine Coast's School of Law and Society. Previously at Griffith University, he was Head of School and Coordinator of the Integrity Systems Program for the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Policing and Security.
His research examines crime prevention strategies, police integrity systems, security industry regulation, gender equity in policing, and restorative justice. He has developed courses in criminology, policing ethics, and crime prevention.
Publications demonstrate consistent focus on evidence-based policing reforms, gender integration in law enforcement, and anti-corruption strategies. Research frequently employs case studies and policy analysis to develop practical solutions.
