Tim Parker

Tim Parker is an Adjunct Professor at The Citadel's School of Engineering, teaching in both the Department of Engineering Leadership and Program Management and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering since 2010. He specializes in rigging and heavy transportation engineering, with a focus on fossil fuel and nuclear power generation sectors.

• Education: BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering and MS in Technical Project Management from The Citadel; currently pursuing a PhD in Structural Engineering at Clemson University.

Professional Activities: President of Parker Rigging Company, Inc. and Principal of Parker Consulting Engineers, LLC. Active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Construction Institute Crane Safety Committee, contributing to crane safety policy development and education.
