Tim Newton is Professor of Psychology as Applied to Dentistry at King’s College London's Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences. He also serves as Dean of Research Culture within the Research Management and Innovation Directorate and holds Honorary Consultant Health Psychologist roles with Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and The Office of the Chief Dental Officer.
His research focuses on theory-based interventions to improve oral health behavior and manage dental anxiety, with a strong emphasis on brief behavioral interventions in primary dental care.
