Tim Murnen

Tim Murnen, Ph.D., is a Professor at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) in the School of Inclusive Teacher Education, specializing in literacy, writing instruction, and Holocaust education. His research spans adolescent literacy, content literacy, technology integration, and teacher training. Murnen teaches courses on literacy, technology in reading, and civic responsibility, including EDTL 2710 and EDTL 6400.

He has earned the BGSU Master Teacher award and secured significant grants, including multiple IREX-TEA Grants and a Fulbright-Hays Group Study Abroad grant. His work emphasizes globalizing teacher education and addressing social issues through pedagogy.
