Tim Michitsch

Tim Michitsch is a Chef-Instructor at the Lorain County Joint Vocational School in Oberlin, Ohio. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in 1984, where he honed his culinary skills through hands-on training in their culinary arts program. His career began with roles at Bard College and Host Marriott Services Corporation before transitioning to education. At Lorain County, he pioneered a high school culinary program inspired by CIA’s curriculum, now expanded to include four faculty members and a student-run restaurant, the Buckeye Room.
