Tim Maudlin is a Professor of Philosophy at New York University, affiliated with the Department of Philosophy in the College of Arts & Science. He holds a visiting professorship (part-time) at the Università della Svizzera Italiana. His research focuses on the foundations of physics, metaphysics, logic, and philosophy of science. He earned a B.A. in Physics and Philosophy from Yale University and a Ph.D. in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
