Tim Ketcher

Tim Ketcher is a Senior Participating Member of the Adjunct Faculty in the Ethics and Business Law Department at the University of St. Thomas within the Opus College of Business. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and his academic work bridges philosophical inquiry with business ethics and law.

Ketcher’s research focuses on ethics, metaphysics, and the philosophical implications of technological change, particularly how it challenges legal, normative, and cultural frameworks in business contexts. His teaching emphasizes principled leadership and the role of business in contributing to the common good.

Before joining academia, he worked as a proposal writer for Express Scripts, a contract analyst for Benfield, and a content writer for FindLaw. Currently, he teaches Ethical Principles in Business courses for undergraduate students at the University of St. Thomas, focusing on case studies and ethical decision-making.
