Tim Haney is a Professor of Sociology and program coordinator at Mount Royal University's Department of Sociology, Faculty of Arts. He founded and directed the Centre for Community Disaster Research (2014–2019) and served as the inaugural Board of Governors Research Chair in Resilience & Sustainability (2019–2022).
