Dr. Tim Crowley is an Assistant Professor and Lecturer in the School of Philosophy at University College Dublin (UCD). He holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford, where his thesis on Aristotle's Elements earned the Conington Prize (2010). His research focuses on Ancient Philosophy, particularly Aristotle and the reception of Presocratic ideas. Crowley has been a College Lecturer at UCD since 2008 and has held teaching roles at institutions like Aylesbury High School and Oxford's New College.
His academic contributions include influential work on Aristotle's elements theory, metaphysics, and ethics.
